My History
I grew up in a home with a family-owned electrical and hardware business (which started out as a grocery store). From an early age I learnt about working hard, business, solving problems, teamwork, sacrifice, and commitment. My parents taught me that I could only succeed and that no problem is unsolvable. Failure was never even mentioned. So, I grew up believing that I could accomplish anything.
Businesswoman
I worked in the family business with my parents and siblings ever since I can remember. When I finished school, I studied business management and did a course in effective communication, human relations and public speaking (both part-time) while running the electrical workshop. I also became the buyer in the electronics department. In later years I became the financial director. After getting married and having 3 children, in 2005, at the age of 35 I resigned to be at home with my children, with one of them having many health challenges at the time.
Wife, Mother & Teacher
Being at home, I poured all my energy into my family, researching on health, which brought me to lifestyle changes for my whole family. Then, in 2012, we took our children out of the private school they were in and began our journey home schooling them. Thank God for the teaching gift I inherited from my father! I have documented most of the wisdom I have learned over the years.
Author, Speaker, Entrepreneur, Trainer & Coach
In 2006, my husband and I started our own property development family business which he now runs. In 2020, I went back into the business arena and Be Made Whole Leadership Institute was born. I speak, train, coach, and write books on different aspects of leadership, personal development, transformation, and self improvement. I hold 2 certifications: I am a certified member of The Maxwell Leadership Team, a global team of independent professional certified coaches, teachers, speakers and entrepreneurs. I am also a certified transformational leadership coach with Global Transformational Leadership Institute. I have spoken and trained at live and online events – workshops, small groups, global audiences, events, and on radio – on my life experiences, personal development, leadership, raising children, health and wholeness, and transformation. I also serve as a 1-on-1 transformational coach.
Passion & Life Purpose
Like my mentor, John C. Maxwell, I believe that anyone can achieve great success and everyone deserves to be led well. I want to share my victories, experiences, and knowledge with every person I encounter. No one should ever live without the hope of a better future. I use my books, public speaking, training, coaching and social media to increase my influence in this regard. I live to see lives changed through personal development, community transformation, and effective leadership. One day when I’m gone, I want to leave this legacy. And while I’m still here, I want to be that living legacy.
